I. The Conflict of the Believer and Satan

1. Satan asks for permission.
2. Satan is never satisfied.
3. Satan seeks to consume.
4. Our hope is Christ’s prayers.
5. We connect to His prayers through faith.

Hebrews 7:25 He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ… by faith into this grace in which we stand…we exult in hope of the glory of God.

Hebrews 11:6   And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Ephesians 6:16 …taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Galatians 3:11   The righteous man shall live by faith.

II. The Prayer Conflict of Christ and Satan

1. Dependence
2. Communion
3. Surrender
4. God’s Glory
5. Honesty
6. Fervency
7. Obedience
