Don’t allow yourself to get frustrated or legalistic in approaching your time in the Word.  Use the month to really study and meditate on His Scripture.  This may mean that you read every chapter for that month everyday.  For some days this may mean you study a chapter really in depth and then do all 5-8 chapters the next day.  For others you may study one chapter a day with commentaries, cross references and other tools to deepen you understanding and repeat this cycle for the entire month.  For some a month may be too much and you could attempt to tackle it on a weekly rather than monthly cycle. The key is to make this your routine to know the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.
