 I.           Understanding the Principles of God’s Grace

What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God.        Acts 20:24 (The Message Bible)

II.        Understanding How Grace Translates into Serving the Body

Now you are Christ’s body, and individual members of it.   I Cor. 12:27

#1 - Reviewing this Past Sunday

Serving The Body Of Christ (Acts 20:22-24; 1 Cor. 12:4-12)

1. Read Acts 20:22-24 and 1 Cor. 12:4-12.

2. Do you see similarities in Acts 20:22-23 and Luke 6:22?

3. Why did Paul expect trouble in Jerusalem? (v 23)

4. Read Acts 20:26-27.  Is there anyone in your life who needs to hear the gospel from you?  Ask the Holy Spirit to lead you.

5. What special talent or ability do you have that God can use in service to the Body of Christ?  Are you using it?

6. Who is really working through you as you use your gift? (1 Cor. 12:4-6).

7. Read 1 Cor. 12:7. How can you use your spiritual gift for the good of this congregation?

#2 - Preparing for Next Sunday

Guatemala Mission Team Testimonies

1. Read Ps. 100:5, 106:1, 34:8 and Luke 18:19. From these verses, what overarching theme can we say about God?

2. What is your personal definition of “good” as it refers to God? What is usually happening in your life when you say, “God is so good to me”?

3. Read Ps. 145:9. Using your definition of good, is God still good when you look at suffering going on in the majority of the world? How?

4. Read Galatians 6:10, Luke 6:27, and Luke 6:33-35. As believers, who among us do you think are called to do good? According to Jesus, who are we to do good to? Are you doing that?
