“I am at peace with this presidential election and much more.” A friend said as he reminded me of this Scripture: Daniel 2:20–22 (ESV)
Daniel said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He…removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise…He reveals deep and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.”
What great promises:
- He will be the ultimate decider to set in place the next president and decide when he is removed (He causes and allows all things for His glory and our ultimate good).
- He will give His people wisdom (His perspective and truth).
- He knows the unknown (We don’t have to figure everything out, just trust the One who knows everything).
- He gives light (truth for those who seek Him).
Where do you need His wisdom and truth applied to your relationships and daily life? Ask Him for He gives His wisdom generously because He is big-hearted toward His people and light dwells with Him.
