Philippians 4:1-3
Page # 1177
I. Stand firm in the Lord.
II. Agree in the Lord.
III. Assist others in the Lord.
Faith Sheet
Transformation Verse - He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ John 7:38
Main Points: We are to stand firm in the Lord, agree in the Lord, and assist one another in the Lord. Since our names are written in the Book of Life, we have a high calling and great inspiration to live for God’s glory and not our own agenda, rights, or interests. 1 Cor. 6:19-20, …the Holy Spirit is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own…you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
#1- Reviewing this past Sunday
Real Joy: Continue Standing Together
Philippians 4:1-3
1.Read Philippians 4:1-3 and discuss with someone.
2. Standing firm in the Lord requires our personal growth in Christ and the support of others. In what specific ways do you put yourself weekly in a position to be supported, strengthened, and encouraged by other believers?
3. Agreeing in the Lord means we must major on the majors and minor on the minors. How well do you do this? Where do you struggle?
4. Assisting others to address their sins and conflicts can be messy. Why is it worth it to get involved? (See John 17:20-21)
