What do we know about the Lord’s return?
1. He will return suddenly, personally, visibly, and bodily.
2. It will be a victorious return.
3. Only disciples of Christ will rejoice.
What do we do until His return?
1. You will rejoice at His return if you wait with anticipation for the
Lord.
2. You will rejoice at His return if you make disciples.

Malachi 4: 1-6
1. Read Malachi 4:1-6, and discuss with someone.
2. What thoughts do you typically have when you think of the
return of the Lord? Why?
3. How can you “encourage” someone with the idea of the Lord’s
return? (Hebrews 10:23-25, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
4. Who are you intentionally walking with to see them grow in
Christ?
5. Create a prayer list of people who you will live the gospel in
front of and share the gospel with your words. Pray for that list,
and place it somewhere where you’ll see it regularly. (Bible,
refrigerator, bathroom mirror)

1. Read Malachi 4:1-6. How does the Old Testament end in vs. 6?
2. Does this ending surprise you? Why or why not?
3. What does this ending say about God? Us? Civilization’s great
need?
4. Read Matthew 3:17, John 5:20, and 1 Thessalonians 2:8. What
are some characteristics that are important in a parent/child
relationship?
