2. Fight to be content
Philippians 4:11-13 – “Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

5. Trust in the providence of God

Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
Philippians 4:19 – “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
6. Rely on prayer.
7. Have a strong support system

Transformation Verse – Jesus said… “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…” Acts 1:8
Main Truths: For the Christian, singleness is a gift from God that provides unique opportunities and availability to serve God.
~The church can recognize the struggles singles face, validate them, and function as a body with them.
~The single Christian who desires marriage can pursue these desires, but also can trust in God’s sovereignty and providence while using singleness as an opportunity to be devoted to serving God.
