#1- Reviewing this Past Sunday
The Story: “The Fall”
Genesis 3
1. Read Genesis 3. Discuss the sermon with someone.
2. Have you ever thought about the gospel restoring our emotional
needs? What emotional needs would need to be rescued in
people?
3. Read Genesis 4. What will need to be restored relationally?
How would your life look different if your relationships were all
restored?
4. What are some “fig leaves” (ways we try to cover our sin) that
you can confess today and rest in Christ?
5. Pray this week that you would have a passion to share the need
we all have for Christ with someone, starting with yourself.
# 2- Preparing for Next Sunday
The Story: “The Rescue”
Matthew 28:1-10
1. Read Genesis 2:15, Isaiah 53:1-6, and Luke 4:16-19.
2. In your own words, what promise did God make?
3. Why do people need to be rescued, even seemingly “good”
people? (Romans 1:16-32)
4. It is beyond our wildest expectations that God would be the
Judge and the Judged. That God would judge Himself and take
our place is the Greatest Story ever to tell anyone. How are you
doing in reminding yourself of His story?
5. Pray for MCC, for us to proclaim His story and not our own, for
salvation for someone, and for God’s people to delight in the
Lord.
