1. What are the dangers of focusing on God’s law apart from His great attributes?

2. If you grew up in a family with rigid moral expectations and standards, did you try hard to comply or were you a rebel? Why?

3. What are some aspects of Christian morality that people in our culture believe are joy-suppressing rather than joy-enhancing? Why the deception?

4. How should Christians use the law in their evangelistic efforts?

5. Which of the four attributes of God are most special to you right now in your life and why?

2. HIGHLIGHT a verse or truth that stands out and write it out.

3. EXPLAIN the text in your own words to make sure you see the big picture of God’s Story.

4. APPLY a truth from the text to your own life. (Focus on what God is saying and what is your act of obedience, confession, prayer, praise, giving thanks, etc.)
