Faith Sheet for Friends and Family this Week

1. What are some answers people might give today to the question “Who do you say Jesus is?” What makes some answers sound good, but are really insufficient? (Matthew 16:13-17, Luke 2:11, John 6:68, 11:27)

2. What important aspects of Jesus’ “identity” and “work” are missing in common understandings of Jesus today? (John 11:25, 14:6, Acts 10:43, 1 Timothy 2:5, and Romans 10:9-10)

3. How would seeing the glory of God and His kingdom help us continue in denying ourselves and sometimes suffering for the sake of the gospel of Jesus? (Matthew 6:33, 19:29, Acts 5:41, Romans 8:36, 2 Corinthians 5:15, Philippians 3:10, 2 Timothy 2:12, Hebrews 11:25 and 1 Peter 2:20)

4. Who in your life shows you the resurrected life of Christ? Tell them how much you see of Christ in them. Pray as God leads you.
