Faith Sheet

Reviewing This Past Sunday

Promised Land: Live Worthy of Your Calling

Joshua 24:14-28

1. Why is it important for Christians to live in ways that line up with what we say we believe? (1 Cor.11:1, Matt. 5:16, 1 Peter 2:12)

  1. What role does awe play in leading us to a sincere and faithful worship of God? (Genesis 28:7, Exodus 15:11, Deut. 10:21, Psalm 4:4, 46:10)
  2. Joshua committed himself and his family to serving the Lord. What are some ways that a family can cultivate the same kind of devotion to the Lord & His service? How is this going in your family?
  3. What is the significance of Joshua erecting a physical stone to remind the people of their commitment? What are some ways we can apply this principle today to encourage us to live worthy of our calling in Christ?
  4. Why is it important that our obedience comes from God’s salvation and not as a way of earning God’s salvation? Pray as God leads.

Preparing for Next Sunday - Read Judges 2:11-19.
