Luke 18:15-17
I. Child-like Faith
1. Reverence
Psalm 33:8 - …Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
2. Trust
Romans 9:16 - So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.
3. Affectionate Love
Deuteronomy 6:5 - You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

3. Which one do you see increasing lately in your life? Pray.
Tuesday 4-30-13 - Reflecting on this Past Sunday
1. Read 2 Tim. 3:15. What blessing did Timothy have that prepared him for future ministry?
2. Read Acts 16:25-34. What is God’s desire concerning families?
3. How were the children involved in discipleship in this passage?
4. How are you being intentional in spiritually blessing your children and others’ children?
5. Pray as God leads you.
Wednesday 5-1-13 - Reflecting on this Past Sunday
1. Read Luke 6:40 and 1 Thess. 2:8. What characteristics are crucial in passing on
the Gospel in our homes and to the next generation?
2. In what ways would you like to improve in your ministry to the next generation? Pray.
Thursday 5-2-13 - Preparing for this Sunday
1. Read Romans 1:16. What does the Gospel accomplish?
2. Read Philippians 1:27-30 and Ephesians 4:1-3.
3. Read Philippians 1:27-30. Do you believe the Gospel message is worth adjusting our conduct and lifestyle? In what specific ways?
4. Ephesians 4:1-3 tells us what walking in a manner worthy of our calling looks
like. Discuss how each of these characteristics are evident in your life.
5. Pray that the power of the Gospel would be evident in your life.
Friday 5-3-13 - Preparing Ourselves for this Sunday
1. Read 1 Samuel 15:22. What does it say is better?
2. Obedience and sacrifice were both commanded by God, so why is obedience better than sacrifice?
3. What do you often do that might be called a sacrifice to God?
4. Pray that you would live obedience from the heart rather than duty.
Saturday 5-4-13 - Preparing for Tomorrow
1. Read 1 Corinthians 2: 1-5. Who does Paul credit for his message?
2. Read Galatians 5:16-18. What does it mean to you to “walk by the Spirit”?
3. What benefits do you see in “walking by the Spirit”?
4. Pray for hearts to be changed tomorrow.
