2. Only One Door
a. His words and life
John 8:46 - "Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?
b. His miracles
c. His foretold death
d. His Resurrection
3. Striving & desire are needed
“Striving” – agonizing, fully engaging in athletics or combat, the willingness to go full throttle to win or defeat your opponent
Romans 3:10-12 - … as it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God…"
“Seeks” – Searches, strives, pursues
John 16:14 - "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.
Acts 16:14 - A woman named Lydia…was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul.
John 6:44 - "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.
4. Will be shut soon
John 9:4 - "We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work.
5. The nations will enter
John 10:16 - "I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.

Monday – 7-30-12 Reflecting on yesterday
1. Read Luke 13:22-35 and discuss Sunday’s message with someone.
2. What was Jesus doing as He traveled to die and how does this encourage you in your busy and distracting schedule? (vs.22)
3.What questioned is asked in vs. 23 and why might a Jewish person ask this after following Jesus for a time?
4. What does Jesus want us to know in vs. 24 about salvation?
5. When the door shuts, what will God tell the people and what is their response? Why is their response so sad? What would the Owner of the house say to you if you met Him today?
Tuesday- 7-31-12 Reflecting on this past Sunday
- Read Matthew 7:13-23.
- What truths about the following do you find:
A. Salvation?
B. False prophets?
C. Being deceived?
- Why is Jesus the “only” way to salvation?
Wednesday – 8-1-12 Reflecting on this past Sunday
- Read Matt. 7:24-27 - Following up from yesterday.
- What do you see about salvation?
- How is the coming judgment described?
- What must all of us do who proclaim to “know” Christ and what are we to look for that would affirm our salvation according to 2 Cor 13:5?
Thursday – 8-2-12 Preparing for this Upcoming Sunday.
1. Read Luke 14:1-14- What do you learn about Jesus (1-6)
2. What do you learn about humility and honor? (7-11)
3. What do you learn about hospitality and rewards? (12-14)
Friday – 8-3-12 Preparing ourselves for this Sunday
1. Read Prov. 29:23 and Isaiah 2:12. What does God promise?
2. Read 2 Samuel 7:8. What do you notice about God exalting David? What is the importance of starting out in the “pasture” instead of going straight to the “throne” to rule over people?
3. Pray for true Godly humility for the Body of Christ.
Saturday- 8-4-12 Preparing for tomorrow
1. Read John 5:44. What is behind the proud heart? The humble heart?
2. Pray for God’s people to have such confidence in God that we can walk humbly on this earth. Pray for tomorrow’s worship times all over the world.
