The Glory of the Chosen One

                                                            Luke 9:23-36

Notes:

TheTransfiguration of Jesus…

I.       Validates the confession that Jesus is the Christ of God.

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,      
                                                                              1 Timothy 2:5 (NASB) 

II.      Reveals God’s desire to give encouragement.

                                                                              Luke 12:31-32

For both He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,  saying, "I will proclaim Your name to My
BRETHREN, In the midst of the congregation I will sing Your praise."

Jesus said, "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me.
