Monday 1-7-13, Reflecting on Yesterday  

1. Read Luke 16:19-31.   Discuss Sunday’s message with someone.

2. Is it difficult for you to believe in hell?  Why or why not?

3. Why is it that so many Americans “believe” in hell, but do not believe they will be there?

4. Pray for anyone you think does not know Christ.

Tuesday 1-8-13, Reflecting on this Past Sunday

1. Read Luke 16:19-31 again. What is God revealing to you?

2. Read Matthew 5:29-30. Put this truth in your own words. Why is this truth so crucial to learn early in life?

3. Read Matthew 10:24-28. What is the main point, and how does one grow in this command?

4. Pray for more “Fear of God” that you will not be afraid of Him or others.

Wednesday 1-9-13, Reflecting on this Past Sunday

1. Read Mark 9:42-48. What do you learn here about hell?  About causing others to stumble?

2. If someone asks, “Why must hell be forever?”   What would you say?

3. Read John 8:24.  How does someone go to hell?  To heaven?

4. Pray for anyone the Lord brings to your mind.

Thursday 1-10-13, Preparing for this Upcoming Sunday

1. Read Luke 16:19-31 for part 2 this Sunday.

2. What do you see in these passages concerning hell? (Matthew 3:12,25:41-46)

3. Why do you think we hear so little about hell today?

Friday 1-11-13, Preparing Ourselves for this Sunday

1. Read Matthew 13:41-42. What does He want us to know about hell?

2. Have you shared the good news with anyone in the last 30 days? Why or why not? Why is it important to “speak” to others about God’s offer of salvation through Jesus? (Romans 10:14-15)

Saturday 1-12-13, Preparing for Tomorrow

1. Read Romans 2:4. What is it that ultimately causes someone to repent and  turn to Christ?

2. Why is it foolish to try to scare someone into heaven and away from hell?  What does a lost person really need? (Ezekiel 36:26)
